It's been another great week in kindergarten! This week was "Color Week". All four of the kindergarten classes wore a color of the day, and each day we would celebrate that color. The stations would have color of the day themes as well. The students actually worked on their writing and cutting skills this week rather than just playing and coloring, and I have seen improvement in their fine motor skills already. Next week, the students will start their reading groups, and I will be helping with that. I'm really excited to help teach them how to read!
I am having a hard time trying to come up with an inquiry project. Ideas just are not popping into my head as easily as they have been in years past with older students. Hopefully by this time next week, I will have thought of something and started my literature review!
